Joomla Popin Window by DART Creations Industrial Fluidization South Africa (IFSA) is a triennual conference that was first held in 2002. It is supported by the CSIR, Mintek, Sasol Technology, Eskom, Exxaro Resources, Anglo Research, SAIMM and the universities of Pretoria and KwaZulu-Natal.
The core focus of the conference is the industrial application of fluidized-bed technology in fields such as treatment of minerals, energy generation/conversion and petrochemicals. IFSA 2008 also seeks to explore novel applications, such as in the bio-pharmaceutical industry. A key element of the conference is the interaction between academia and industry, exploring how fundamental research and modeling of fluidization can contribute to the design and operation of industrial plants. In this regard we welcome contributions spanning the entire research, development and implementation chain. IFSA 2008 seeks to provide a forum in South Africa for academics and industrialists from across the world to share their knowledge and experience; it aims to promote the exchange of information on the engineering principles in multi-phase contacting systems, on emerging technologies, and on new ideas. IFSA 2008 is to be held on 19 & 20 November 2008 at Glenburn lodge, Gauteng, in the Cradle of Humankind. I urge you to join us and participate in, and benefit from, this unique learning experience.
For delegate fees and booking for the conference see 'Book now' .
